The statistics above are from The Holocaust Knowledge and Awareness Study, commissioned by the Claims Conference, which surveyed Holocaust awareness among U.S. Millennials and Gen Z adults aged 18 to 39. Conducted by Schoen Cooperman Research, it involved 1,000 nationwide interviews and 200 per state, using random, demographically representative sampling via phone and online methods.

Freedom in Education has partnered with Holocaust Scholar Carolina Simon to introduce comprehensive Grades 8-12 Holocaust and Human Rights standards. We have also created a corresponding framework with aligned lesson plans. The standards, framework, and lesson plans are all available, at no charge, to public school districts, private schools, and homeschools.
