Welcome to Freedom in Education Corporation
Freedom in Education Corporation is a Georgia nonprofit corporation that is organized and
operated exclusively for religious purposes, including charitable and educational purposes in
furtherance thereof, and is tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
(hereinafter referred to as “we,” “our,” or “FIE”).
This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) describes how we collect, use, share, and protect
personal information or personal data (“Personal Data”) collected from freedomined.org and all
affiliated URLs, subdomains, and applications owned or operated by us (each a “Site”, and
collectively, the “Sites”).
This Privacy Policy also applies to your interactions with our official social media accounts (e.g.,
on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or X). When you tag us, share our content, send
messages or otherwise engage, we may collect information such as your username, posts,
comments and interactions, as described in “Types of Personal Data We Collect.” However, these
accounts are hosted by third-party platforms, which have their own privacy policies and terms
governing data collection and use. We encourage you to review those policies (e.g., Meta’s at
https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/, X’s at https://privacy.x.com/en). We have limited
control over data processed by these platforms and are not responsible for their practices. This
Privacy Policy describes our practices for our Sites and limited interactions on third-party social
media but does not create obligations beyond applicable law.
You may contact us at the address and/or email address stated in the “Contact Us” section of this
Privacy Policy.
The Sites are operated from the United States of America and are intended for use only by
individuals located in the United States of America. We do not target or direct the Sites to
individuals located outside of the United States of America.
We take your privacy and our compliance with applicable laws very seriously and invite you to
reach out if you have any questions using the information provided in the “Contact Us” section
of this Privacy Policy. Certain state privacy laws do not apply to us, either because (1) such laws
exempt organizations that do not operate for profit (or provide for similar exemptions); (2) we do
not meet such laws’ data processing thresholds for applicability; (3) we do not derive revenue (or
receive discounts, as applicable) from the sale of personal data in a manner that would trigger
applicability; or (4) other exemptions or exclusions apply. The practices described herein do not
constitute an admission that any particular law applies to us, nor do they create legal obligations
beyond those required by applicable law. Additionally, as a religious organization, certain of our
activities may also be protected under constitutional and statutory provisions protecting religious
exercise, which may limit the application of certain data privacy requirements to our religious

operated independently from us, and they have their own separate privacy and data collection
practices, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the actions or policies

Children’s Privacy
Our Sites are not directed to children under the age of 13. Other than the online contact
information required to obtain parental consent, we do not knowingly collect any Personal Data
from children under the age of 13 unless the child’s parent or legal guardian has first provided us
with consent for that child to use the services and disclose Personal Data to us. If you are a child
under the age of 13, please do not send any Personal Data to us if we have not obtained prior
consent from your parent or legal guardian. If we learn we have collected Personal Data from a
child under the age of 13 without consent from the child’s parent or legal guardian, or if we learn
a child under the age of 13 has provided us Personal Data beyond what we request from them
and what has been consented to by a parent or legal guardian, we will delete that information as
quickly as possible. We do not use Personal Data for advertising or profiling, and we retain the
Personal Data of children under the age of 13 only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill
those purposes or comply with legal obligations. Our Sites do not include age-gating or age
verification, and we rely on parents and guardians to supervise minors’ use of the Sites. We do
not target children under 13 on social media, but interactions are subject to platform age
restrictions. In certain states, individuals under 18 years of age have additional privacy rights.
Where we have actual knowledge that a user is a resident of such a state and is under 18, we will
not process their Personal Data for targeted advertising, sale, or profiling without obtaining
appropriate consent as required by applicable law. In jurisdictions that prohibit such processing
regardless of consent, we will refrain from such processing for users we know to be minors.
Parents or legal guardians may contact us at info@freedomined.org with questions or requests
regarding their child’s Personal Data.
