Have you ever thought about running for office or helping on a political campaign? It seems like a daunting task, but Commonwealth Policy Center provides a training to equip you to run a winning campaign. This training acts as a ‘toolkit and a roadmap’ for the basics of campaigning.

The first day of training will equip candidates to understand and respond to the tough issues of the day, including educational freedom, life and religious liberty.

On the second day, candidates will learn the ins and outs of a successful campaign.

If the next generation does not learn true history, they will be doomed to repeat it.

Did you know? 63% of those surveyed did not know that 6 million Jews were murdered in the Holocaust, and over half of those thought the death toll was fewer than 2 million.  Over 40,000 concentration camps and ghettos were established during World War II, but nearly half of U.S. respondents could not name a single one.

Carolina Simon is the founder of Zachor Shoah, a Georgia-based non-profit. As a scholar of Holocaust & Ethnic Literature, Carolina Simon strives to bring the values of a strong democratic society (individualism, respect, diversity) to audiences along with deeper understandings for the historical facts of the Holocaust, Antisemitism, and the Converso/Sephardim community. Carolina Simon is the great-granddaughter of a Catalonian Jewish woman who took great pride in her resolve, fortitude and courage fighting against Fascism in her country during the Spanish Civil War.

According to The Nations Report Card, 40% of U.S. students scored below the “basic level” in history, and ONLY 13% achieved proficiency in US History and 22% in Civics.
